Left 4 Dead has been one of the most surprising games i’ve played in recent times: I thought it was going to be incredibly boring at first, but after playing the demo a few times, I was hooked. Playing online with friends or random people is great, and while there’s only four maps, versus mode is by far the most interesting mode to me, not only for possible teamwork but incredible turn-arounds, comebacks, and general unique feel to the gameplay that comes from the versus setup. However, this video is not meant to say the game as a whole sucks: it’s just meant to point out some funny/stupid situations where the single-player campaign bots do really broken things, like standing in fire, for instance. Future L4D videos, which i’ll probably put up once every few weeks, will feature examples of rushing, small bugs in the game, and a large bug where zombies are invincible but float around the map. Also, this video confirms that the laggy/jumpy stuff is now fixed for my YouTube uploads. Another Rock Band video will be up in the next 2-3 days: GH: Metallica comes out in less than 2 weeks, too, and i’ll have videos of that on Expert+ ASAP. =) Want to see stuff I do besides video games? This is nothing compared to how dumb the L4D2 bots are!
Left 4 Dead 2 puts the zombie content to a innovative level. It truly is really the most gruesome thing we’ve ever played. If you haven’t dled it and tried it yet, run to L4D2dlXcom (replace X with . ). These people now have the game for cost-free there!

Oh come on Bill was being attacked by one zombie and everyone knows when everyone else is dying the AI has to melee that one zombie twenty times before healing then taking a smoke break then jumping off an edge to do some pull ups while smoking masturbate on a dead (or living it doesnt seem to matter) tanks face THEN he will come and save you. It just takes time

Bot Bill sometimes melees the tank in the back when he incaps a survivor. One time I was playing a friends-only game on expert and Bot Bill saved my friend from getting killed by the tank by hitting the tank in the small of his back. Bill was killed in the ensuing hit when the tank turned around but we were able to save the other player and finish the game.
Bot bill is very noble. Unless somebody gets Smoke’d

Yeah, I was thinking of some other game.
This might seem kind of random but everytime i play on single and get attacked by the witch, the bots just go as FAR away as they can, and then start shooting. it pisses me off to the extreme

It is true that he could’ve saved bill but the point was that the bots are not nearly as well programmed as the horde or special infected are. they don’t respond or adapt very well and having them in play doesn’t help players very much except for the carrying extra supplies. however its the first version of the game and these types of bugs are supposed to be fixed in L4D 2. Hes no pro but hes not a noob either the cpus just suck. period.

lol ur such a noob at this, bots dont shoot the fuckin tongue, they run and melee them2 break it, hes dangling and he cant be meleed cuz hes in the air and the bots priorty is 2 save him because hes in the proximity, the smokers all the way by the pickup. u fuckin suck u let him die.
