The surest way to destroy a country is to conduct it according to a religious belief. Look at Bush trying to get France to back us in invading Iraq puzzling Chirac with his “gog and magog” references. Bush tried to hasten prophecy, the rebuilding of the Temple, the Rapture and the 2nd Coming of Christ & we see how that turned out. Then there’s Beck with his Caliphate Conspiracy – trying to fit biblical prophecy to current events.

“Only the Father knows”. Except Bush, Beck & howie know?

ok. let me explain something to all of you. fuck this. politicians dont give a fuck about us, they only care about america, and keeping it a good name. if they cared so much why are they living in the best homes, eating finest food, while the rest of us cant afford to buy the basic things we need, .. 1)gas prices so damn high, if ur lucky enough to have a job, it would be somewhat tedious bc youd spend about 1/2 ur paycheck on gas to get to the job.

    Impeach Obama!

@JackCoxx, The U.S. has liberated more Muslims from their dictators in the last 30 years, including Clinton’s war to help Muslims in Bosnia, and the Bush wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, than in the entire history of the world. Obama carries on in that tradition of humanitarianism with no more U.S. material national interest at stake than they had. Or, than Roosevelt really had for supporting Stalin against Hitler, for that matter. What do you think of the trend?

@imorio, onesmartgal1 drops in now and then to stand up for her Savior President. The left throws up whatever it can against the right, hoping for something to stick, but ignores it’s own crap. I like to tell the truth about what the left is, and what it does in society. The more that scripturally accurate, and spiritually true religion decrease the more that Big Government socialism, secularism, and stupidity like Obama-worship increases. Search: Obama Messiah, to see for your self.

@howardz43, LOL, Need I remind you it was the Reagan that sold Weapons to Iran?

  8. Lolp821 April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

A President/Prime Minister that doesn’t live up to their expectations and promises, that’s never happened before. Oh wait, that happens every time.

    @imorio

You can’t get through to Howie, I’ve been trying for more than 2 years when some right-winger sent me Dennis Prager’s rantings on American Exceptionalism. Howie’s co-nuts even gave up on him and skeedaddled but Howie just keeps on in the same old mode. He is sealed off from reality and pretty much a lost cause I’m sad to relate. But maybe someone somewhere somehow will say something that will spark an Epiphany for the poor guy.

@imorio, Obama has never talked about doing an invasion and says there will be no troops. At least not, U.S. troops. Europeans get a big chunk of their oil for from Libya. That is probably the real reason Obama decided to back them at first with leadership, and then provide support. The “humanitarian” concern for being the reason is not most likely, baloney? Imagine – Europeans going to war to depose Gadafi for Oil. The problem is they will probably succeed with that only if they invade.

  11. imorio April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

@howardz43 No, they stated after a while that they would view a no-flyzone as intended to protect the citizens and not as a foreign invasion. They never asked it, they merely said they wouldn’t defend Lybia (=gadafi) if a no-flyzone was enforced.

  12. howardz43 April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

Hey, all you leftists, not to worry! Search: “Obama Messiah,” to remind yourselves of what so many of you really thought that you were electing into the office of the U.S. Presidency:

“Does it not feel as if some special hand is guiding Obama on his journey, I mean, as he has said, the utter improbability of it all?”
    – Daily Kos

“Special hand!!!? – should be a size 14 Boot guiding him on his journey right out the back door! If it sounds like it’s improbable then it probably is!”

  13. howardz43 April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

@imorio, Although what you say is true about many countries in the world today still being undemocratic regimes, The Arab League was not nervous or hesitant. It was quick to ask that a no-fly zone be established early to discourage Gadafi from using his military against those who are rebelling. Because in the beginning the situation was so incompetently handled by Obama, the Arab League probably is now getting nervous due to the need for troops, although Obama said there will be no troops.

  14. imorio April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

@howardz43 The reason the arab league is so hesitant is because this is basicly a military operation to support rebels that want to overthrow an undemocratic regime. Almost all of the member-states of the arab-league have undemocratic regimes and rebels, the same is true for china and in lesser extent russia. Using exactly the same reasoning to sent troops to lybia, troop could be sent to saudi-arabia or china. That makes them nervous.

  15. howardz43 April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

@imorio, Apparently the Arab League did not care much if at all about waiting to get any U.N. mandate. Why have they been criticizing because some civilians were accidentally killed in setting up a no-fly zone? The long wait gave Gadafi more time to get going and kill more rebel civilians. The U.N. is functionally worthless to prevent or stop such things and everyone knows it. Obama is soon going to put the Europeans in charge. Probably it’s time they step up and take on more responsibility.

@imorio, What is your point regarding the Pope declaring recently that ‘Jews are not responsible for killing Jesus?’ The vast majority of Muslims worldwide still are far too disorganized, self-schooled in Jew-hatred, and in clinging to the ways of ancient times to make any similar declarations today from the viewpoint of Islam. Human institutions tend to degenerate into what the lowest levels of their adherents want for them to be and that is usually the real cause of poverty.

  17. imorio April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

@howardz43 So you propose attacking without an UN-mandate? Attacking just because you don’t like what is happening there? I gues you also have no problem with countries attacking the US because they disagree with guantanamo bay and rendition practises of the CIA. Just abolishing international law, the strong attack, the weak get attacked.

Just know, if countries do things like in Iraq in 2003 often enough, you will end up with bombs exploding in the cities, because countries will strike back.

  18. imorio April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

@howardz43 That may be largely the case in the world today, but it still was news that the pope declared a few weeks ago that the jews weren’t responsible for the killing of jesus. And here in the Netherlands until about a century ago, catholics were considered second class citizens by the protestant mayority. Religious (and non-religious) people have been treating people with other beliefs badly for milenia. Why is Islam different, and isn’t poverty or lack of education to blame?

  19. howardz43 April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

@imorio, Many people say, If a no-fly zone had been imposed in Libya two weeks earlier, there would likely have been no impending genocide by Gadafi.
Now, he is quite likely to remain in power. The lesson in Libya to dictators all over the world is, do whatever you want to your own people, no one is going to really do anything effective to stop you. The left is quite tolerant of evil. What it prefers to fight are those who fight the evil. That because it believes fighting is evil.

  20. howardz43 April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

@imorio, The difference is not between Jews and Christians, the difference is that to Muslims in significant parts of the Muslim world today, the Jew — and his or her children — is widely believed to be sub-animal. Jews and Christians generally believe no such things about Muslims, or about each other, or about anyone else, and their Governments do not sponsor such kinds of belief. Go to memri.org, to see on display what Muslims think of and say about Jews especially.

  21. teamcedricdiggory99 April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

oh my god this is awesome

  22. imorio April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

@howardz43 So the biggest difference between jews and christians is that “Jew — and his or her children — is sub-animal”? That is an assertion, not an argument let alone evidence. Can you give me a real argument or evidence that there is a fundemental difference between islam, judeism and christianity?

btw: now is not the time to criticise “the left”, because “the right” is now saying that the invasion should have been sooner AND that there shouldn’t be one at all, at the same time.

  23. MrSinner1981 April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

    it’s a piece of art….thank you

  24. howardz43 April 10, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

@imorio, You gave your opinions which you cannot prove in response to my question. I gave my opinions in return, and then pointed out one glaring difference between Christianity, the Jewish faith, and Islam in the world today, that should be obvious either, or you do not like it in response to your own comment. Now give yourself a chance to say something profound or at least coherent. It sounds like you may need to do so someday.
