I have seen the movie Yesterday! One of the best movies 2011! That is is sure!

The mermaid scene was EPIC. I really hope they decide to bring them back in a possible fifth movie (but not in a tired, cliche way).

I don’t think either of the Spanish nor Philip should have been in the movie. Both felt forced and didn’t add much to the plot. Zimmer’s score was terribly spliced together (Davy Jones’, Bootstrap’s theme, Up Is Down all in the movie. WTF?) but the soundtrack for the movie was actually pretty good, although I don’t know why they would waste space with the RyG tracks which aren’t in the movie.

I didn’t think I would, but I actually miss the characters of Will, Elizabeth, Pintel, Ragetti, and others. Angelica, Blackbeard and Philip weren’t great additions to the movie. However, Syrena was awesome (most likely because she was a mermaid). I felt like her ending wasn’t completed. Oh well, even though it was my least favorite of the four, it was still a great movie.

And I also wish they had saved the mermaid scene for closer to the finale (if not making it the climax itself). That would have been so much better than the lame Fountain fight scene.
