    Hi oekakinin, glad you liked it. It’s nice to have a duck dish vid, and the orange sauce seemed a good choice with christmas coming.
    Let us know how it goes :)

    @boppzz
    Hi boppzz,
    If you want a sauce without the bits then using a siv is a good suggestion. I am happy either way :)
    As you say chicken could be nice.
    Thanks for dropping in.

    i think i d put that sauce through a siv, it would still taste amazing, its just that i h8 sauces with loads of bits in them, only my opinion. great dish though m8y, great with chicken too.
    peace!

    I actually saw this video the day it came out but I was studying in the library and didn’t have time to give a genuine comment. But I have to say that it looks sooooooo delicious and you definitely delivered! The duck looks so scrumptious and it looks perfectly cooked. Thanks for answering the request. There’s no doubt I’m going to try this!

    If you do spot the seville ornages, maybe give it a go.
    People use the seville oranges for making marmalade.
    I have also seen recipes using saville marmalade when making a similar dish to this one.

    rly nice video! thanks

  19. kumquatsta November 2, 2010 at 1:30 am #

    @OriginalNakedChef i am not too sure about the seville oranges, but i am sure i can track them down.

    @kumquatsta
    I love crispy duck with the pan cake and hoisin sauce.
    If you like the orange flavour sauce, its worth a try.
    Can you buy seville oranges where you are?

  21. kumquatsta November 2, 2010 at 1:30 am #

    @OriginalNakedChef oh definitely. i love duck. i normally eat peking style roast duck, i’ve never tried it this way – looks good.

  22. OriginalNakedChef November 2, 2010 at 1:30 am #

    @kumquatsta
    Not that cheap. The 2 duck breast cost around £5, that’s probably around $7.5 dollars. It makes a change though.
    The reason I made the duck video is one of my subscribers asked me to.
    I thought making it with the orange sauce would be a nice seasonal touch with Christmas coming.
    Does the dish appeal to you?

  23. kumquatsta November 2, 2010 at 1:30 am #

    looks great. should give it a go. duck isn’t too cheap where i am. is it cheap where you are?

  24. OriginalNakedChef November 2, 2010 at 1:30 am #

    @MACnRose
    Lets hope it taste as good as when your grams made it. It may bring back some nice memories.
    As you say, nice festive dish one I hope you enjoy!

    Hi there, you could use Orange juice from a carton, preferably fresh orange juice, although you would ideally still need the orange peel sliced up. The peel sliced adds some flavour and looks nice :)
