thanks so much for posting this! I felt like such an out of shape blob after ab ripper… it made me want to give up. But seeing you guys (although it appears you did more reps than I did) are giving me the guts to go on and do day 2! Dont give up… if you can smile at the camera during that routine youre two tough cookies!

price is around 120$ 12 different videos including 15 minute ab ripper workout

  7. domineus September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

that’s true but I am very much out of shape and the good thing about p90x is the emphasis of working at your own pace and if you have to do modified before you can get the full workout do it
the goal is to just try in my mind
my day one was so bad I couldn’t even do even 20 seconds of abripperx after chest and back. Plyometric should be fun

@6packabz Why should somebody have to work there way up to p90x when p90x can be adapted to people, Tony strongly preaches throughout the workout to do your best and forget the rest. A person doesn’t need to be in top shape to benefit from the program. I’m not in top shape and I’m loving the program and benefiting from it. People shoulden’t have to work their way up to p90x unless they’re obese or something. Oh and don’t think someone a few years older then me has the right to cal me little kid

  9. 6packabz September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

@rcw0388 – and if the individual decides to do a round 2 with p90x, their body has become accustomed to the workouts; thus less progress and less gains.

let this be a lesson for you, little kid. keep your trap shut unless you’re prepared to have an open discourse and back up what you have to say.

@rcw0388 – a dvd that includes the ab ripper x at the end of the workout, the total workout time will be about an hour and 15 minutes. any breaks that you take will add onto this. the point im trying to make is to cut your losses by being in relatively good shape to begin with.

  11. 6packabz September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

@rcw0388 – for a few months before attempting p90x; switch over once youre in shape and reach a plateau. its a scientific fact that your performance begins to suffer after one hour of any intense and grueling workout. After one hour, your body digs into your reserves and the workout becomes catabolic (using protein from muscles for fuel). every time you pause the video, the time from the breaks accumulate and the end result will inevitably put you over an hour. granted, if you are doing

  12. 6packabz September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

@rcw0388 – and skills before reaching the pinnacle of their respected sport. i would consider p90x to be a pro level in terms of a workout routine. you can go from 25% to 15% bodyfat by simply making better nutritional choices and any workout program, albeit not as fast as with p90x. so why would someone just start with p90x cold feet just because its a proven program and they want to lose weight? that doesnt make any sense to me. why not work your way up and improve your fitness level

  13. 6packabz September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

@rcw0388 – before i commence, very clever on using two words that have a similar meaning to describe my hypothetical case.

to get the most out of p90x (this goes for any EXTREME workout, every p90x dvd indicates that this is an EXTREME program) you SHOULD start out in shape. a perfect analogy to support this claim would be that of any pro athlete. did they start out there? that would be a gigantic and fat NO. they worked their way up the ranks, developing their strength, conditioning,

  14. rcw0388 September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

@resurgefx your point is completely idiotic and stupid, p90x is for ppl that want to make a life style change and become a healthier person overall. how is it a waste if somebody goes from 25 to 15% body fat? they have become a healthier and more fit person and will be able to bring it even harder for their second round of p90x.

  15. mvallin September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

soooo, p90x is for same-sex couples?

  16. ThePokemonfangirl September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

WHAT THE HECK! am a girl and I can”t do not.(faith)

  17. resurgefx September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

awesome keep it up!!! i’ll be pullin for ya

  18. mjmerrilees September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

“mo, p90x is a waste of 3 months if ur not down to at least 14% bf to start.”

Good thing thats just your opinion cause your wrooooong! 28.8% body fat for me and im already seeing results. =) Cant WAIT to prove you wrong!!!!!!!!

  19. resurgefx September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

@mjmerrilees – to get a 6 pack. maybe i should have included in my comment that its an optimal program for those looking to get 6 packs. for all others, yeah go ahead and try p90x because it’s a proven program that works.

so for those who are looking to achieve a 6 pack with p90x, look to alternate methods to lose weight until you get down to a low body fat percentage.

  20. resurgefx September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

did you even read past my opening sentence? i’m not discounting the fact that anyone can try p90x regardless of size and the level of shape that they’re in and expect to lose weight. i know that anyone can lose weight with this program.

i was saying that IMO, p90x involves movements and exercises that most people aren’t used to, which would be VERY effective to lose the last bit of body fat to get into single digits. thus, this program makes the MOST sense for people looking to

  21. mjmerrilees September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

@resurgefx….My point was that you said “I dont know what fat and out of shape people want to do p90x” and I was saying WHY NOT? Im not what you would call a “fat” girl.. but I am completely out of shape and like 29% body fat. I will prove to you that p90x is not just for the Buff dudes that what to shed the last bit of fat. Thats just not true. Iv’e seen straight up fattys change their life and their bodys on p90x.

  22. resurgefx September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

yeah that is pretty funny xD

  23. resurgefx September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

i love how whoever made this video game themself credit for doing 10 upside down pushups… try going all the way down, saying that those reps were cheat reps would be a severe understatement.

case in point, tony says it himself, its quality over quantity

  24. resurgefx September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

    @deans12321 – i think you missed my point…

  25. resurgefx September 1, 2010 at 5:07 am #

@mjmerrilees – are you saying that you’re pure fat? lol. i’m not saying that fat people won’t lose weight / bf with p90x, i think you missed my point. it’s a proven fact that the last bit of body fat is the hardest to lose. but i’ll be looking forward to seeing your ripped 6 pack after 90 days =)
