Thit Kho Tau (Caramelized Pork and Egg) tutorial-Tet (Lunar New Year) Recipe

INGREDIENTS: Serves 4-6 Boil Eggs: 3 cups of water 6 large eggs (room temperature) Pork Marinade Ingredients: -1 ½ lbs pork loin (can substitute with pork sirloin roast or pork Boston butt roast) -2 tbsp olive oil – 2 tsp kosher salt – 1 tsp black pepper – 3 tbsp fish sauce – 1 tsp chopped ginger – 1 tsp chopped garlic – 2 tbsp chopped red onion Cooking Ingredients: -3 tbsp vegetable oil -2 tsp chopped red onion -1 tsp chopped garlic -1 tsp chopped ginger – 1 can (12 oz) of coconut soda of any brand (if you cannot find this, substitute with any lemon-lime soda) -1 cup of water -3 tbsp sugar (for caramel) -2 stick of green onions chopped at a diagonal Serve with rice, cucumbers, and pickled bok choy Music by: Juan Serrano Boccaccio Feat.     Looks delicious, besides the fact that I can’t stand cucumbers. I suppose I could alter the dish and omit that though. Anyway, great vid Tina…keep it up!
