@GoalieTributesHD haha I was just joking with you I haven’t even been arguing about Price or Halak since my second post on your vid(which is really good by the way) I’m currently arguing about what makes a goalie’s season a success I said it’s # of wins and whether or not his team earns a playoff birth sswanick disagrees although he hasn’t givin me his side of the argument, if you want to join in your welcome too it’s your video afterall.
PS I like Price now he’s proven he is a quality starter!

@Hurley474 dont even pull the halak shit on me, i liked price before halak had a few good games, and im pretty sure im the only one out of all these peopel arguing with you that always believed in him, so ill make tributes if i want to, you can go watch halak be a backup in st louis

  3. Hurley474 April 19, 2011 at 2:14 pm #

@sswanick really? dumbest ever? winning and making the playoffs is to dependant on team play….
last I checked hockey was a team sport and winning is the most important stat of any team…..GAA and Save % is also team based when’s the last time a non playoff goalie won the Vezina? why don’t how explain your reasoning of a successful goalie season? I’d love to hear it

  4. Vladd27 April 19, 2011 at 2:14 pm #

    Solid vids!!

  5. sswanick April 19, 2011 at 2:14 pm #

@Hurley474 that’s some of the dumbest hockey commentary ever. Wins and making it to the playoffs are far too dependent on team play as a whole to use it as an indicator for which goalie had the better season.

  6. Hurley474 April 19, 2011 at 2:14 pm #

@sswanick No Cam Ward has a Conn Smythe and Stanley Cup to his name so he’s the better goalie.
However it is a very good way to evaluate a goalie’s season because making the playoffs is how you gudge a Seasons success, so Howard had a more successfull season than Ward this year much the same Price was more successful than Halak.

  7. sswanick April 19, 2011 at 2:14 pm #

@Hurley474 thats a terrible way to evaluate goalies. By that logic Jimmy Howard is a better goalie than Cam Ward.

  8. Hurley474 April 19, 2011 at 2:14 pm #

@sswanick thanks but I could have told you who had the better season just by looking at number of wins and which goalies team made the playoffs this year

  9. seeaa11 April 19, 2011 at 2:14 pm #

@LXnastynotch93 he did haha…instead of trying to hit everything that’s moving the Bruins should try to play hockey…good luck because trailing 2-nothing is huge coming in Montreal!

  10. sswanick April 19, 2011 at 2:14 pm #

@Hurley474 St. Louis had more goals scored than the Habs, by a substainal margin (10th in the league compared to 21st). And for all the injuries the Blues had, the Habs had just as much defensively. Price was better than Halak this year by a good margin. Price wasn’t traded because his upside is much higher than Halak’s.

sooo sick, who cares who’s better out of halak and price they’re both insane and both make some awesome highlights

  12. Hurley474 April 19, 2011 at 2:14 pm #

@SykosHockeyPodcast I honestly don’t even know as the only time I saw Halak this year was a couple highlight reel saves on sportscenter……st louis sucks, and price’s stats wouldn’t have been so hot if he was the one traded to the blues he’s real lucky he’s tall as that was the main reason behind keeping price and all of his 6″3ness 5″11 is aparantly to small for a goaltender thease days

  13. SykosHockeyPodcast April 19, 2011 at 2:14 pm #

@Hurley474 What were Halak’s Stats this year? I Dont think they compare to Price

  14. LXnastynotch93 April 19, 2011 at 2:14 pm #

We’ll see you in the first round there Carey. Better bring your big boy cup because you’re gonna be coming to Boston.

  15. 09088908 April 19, 2011 at 2:14 pm #

hmmm, Price played 72 games this year. 10 more games, and he’d play 82…

    GamesPlayed: 72 (2nd)
    Wins: 38 (1st)
    Losses: 28 (2nd)
    SO : 8 (3rd)
    sV%: .923 (7th)

those are amazing stats. Considering that Montreal’s defence is diminished by injuries and that their best fowards, veterans, are playing like shit. The only reason why montreal is in the playoffs : Carey Price

    Halak who?

  16. Hurley474 April 19, 2011 at 2:14 pm #

@GoalieTributesHD BOOO Halak’s still better and Price isn’t good enough to have 15 tributes already…….lol

Just a little idea…..it would be cool if you put the easy shootout save on teddy purcell and then the cocky puck flip afterwards. that would be boss. but anyways great vid

@Epicness39 Bring me to life by Thousand Foot Krutch, if you ever need to find a song and can understand some of the lyrics when listening to it just google “lyric search – ” and put the lyrics that you understand after the dash, you may have to search a bit but it’s better than waiting for someone to respond on youtube, it helps me all the time :D
