@TRUEorFAKE Dude, they did steal it. They took an open source kernal, butchered it into OSX and sold it for money. Thats stealing.

  2. TRUEorFAKE January 17, 2011 at 12:07 am #

@Roflcopter4b Okay. So whether they stole it or not is not my point. My point was/is simply where their pricing comes from. a good operating system! developed by them or not, it’s still good!! I don’t agree that they should have stolen it by any means of course. But nonetheless it is good, and it’s worth the money. I hope you don’t take this as me trying to put apple above anyone or say that you are wrong! I’m simply sayingmy opinions, Happy to listen to yours as well!

@Roflcopter4b Doesn’t mean they stole it. And You don’t need to call people dumbasses just cos they dont know something you do. its people like you this world doesn’t need.

@TRUEorFAKE Dude its an acknowledged fact that Apple stole the openBSD unix kernal to make OSX. How could you not know that? They are always saying
“Based off of a stable Unix kernal”
in their ads. I believe it is you who are the dumbass.

What about the Optimus 2X? Or the Motorola Atrix? You could have at least mentioned the upcoming superphones as they’re labelled. They too run the nVidia Tegra 2. I’m getting the Optimus 2X.

  24. ViciousDave4Life January 17, 2011 at 12:07 am #

@TRUEorFAKE I just made a video on this coming up soon. I say exactly that Apple products seem overpriced because they include the price of there Mac OS X on top of the hardware price. You’re not just paying for the hardware with a Mac, you’re also paying for the software, because they both come from Apple. Versus OEM PC makers, they get a deal with several issues of Windows handed out to them at a way cheaper price.

  25. Roflcopter4b January 17, 2011 at 12:07 am #

@TRUEorFAKE Ever heard of Unix? Dumbass. Apple did NOT develop their OS. They stole it. In every sense they stole it from charity workers. Its despicable. I HATE them for what they did.
