Dezi!!! Thank you SO much for introducing me to Miss Jessie’s products. I have a 2 yr old daughter and I want to keep her hair natural for as long as I can…until she’s grown and can then do what she wants with her hair. I am a relaxed mama of 3 (28 yrs old) and I want to transition to natural hair but am not sure the best way to do so. I dont want to go commando and go bald…so while I contemplate..thank you again!!

Great video and it was very helpful. I hope you don’t mind me being so bold, but you have wonderful beauty about you and it emanates from the inside out – you are truly a beautiful, classy lady.

    Thank you for sharing. Blessings.

Hi MsBabyGirl80, I feel these products work their best on natural/un-relaxed hair.

    Thanks for watching!!

I have used the curly pudding and the buttercream. I don’t think that I was able to achieve a cute braidout or twist out due to my relaxed ends not cooperating.

Dezi, Ist I want to say thank you for your honest and straight forward videos. I am one of your new subies and I want to know if you would do a video on the skin care products you use or like. I think your skin is beautiful and to see you do this video make up free just proves it. Thank you be blessed.

@AfreeQueen – when i was a baby i had curly hair..couple years later it got nappy…i just dont like my hair texture at all but when i got old im gonnna have to learn how to manage it unfortunately

  21. AfreeQueen December 25, 2009 at 8:55 am #

Thats what I said right before I went natural. lol “It won’t look right…” I had to think of this though… when I was a baby and had my first baby afro, I looked cute… why would it all of a sudden look ugly after getting a big chop or transitioning?

  22. DiosEsElMejor December 25, 2009 at 8:55 am #

@AfreeQueen- Right now im not natural…i dont think ill ever go natural till im older…like 57 plus natural wont go with the style im going for
but ill still check them out

  23. BrighterThanYours December 25, 2009 at 8:55 am #

one big paddle brush and a fine toothed comb are the perfect detangler

  24. AfreeQueen December 25, 2009 at 8:55 am #

Nope, luck has nothing to do with it. lol Sometimes I don’t like my hair and I tend to trick myself into thinking that I can’t do a lot with my hair because of it’s texture. the fact is that we have advantages to the coiliness (not a word…) whether tight or loose of our black hair. Our only challenge is finding out what else we can do with it. Check out some videos here on youtube where there are sistas who have 4b hair textures and see what styles you can be inspired by. :)
